Survivor Testimonials

“Everything my ISVA did was so important and valuable. It really helped to have the support extended to counselling, and she also linked me to the SVLO at the university which allowed me to continue my masters – I was ready to quit because I was struggling to cope. Finding out I could give the information to the police was so helpful, too. I didn’t know that was possible before.”

“It was nice for me to have someone to talk to who could not just listen but give advice as well. I also was really happy that I learnt more about myself through these sessions.”

“Your support has been so important in my life. My ISVA helped me get in contact with Women’s Aid who helped me get a flat when I had nowhere or no-one. I am so very grateful. The support for legal advice and counselling has been a blessing.”
